Description | Modeled figurine of a horse shown in standing position with erect head and tail; Surfaces are scraped smooth and highly burnished; Horse's mane, tail, forehead, and hooves are painted with dark gray slip; Eyes and nostrils are represented by small punctate holes; Ears and mouth are incised; Figurine is reduction fired to glossy black color; Signature "Pula Gutierrez" is incised on horse's underbelly. | |
