Description | 3-dimensional figurine of baby Jesus and separate manger in 17-piece nativity set; Oval bowl-shaped manger is supported on 2 pedestal legs and is unpainted; Baby is shown in reclining position with outstretched arms and incised facial features; Baby wears magenta shirt, chartreuse kilt, white pants and rust colored moccasins; Figurine is unsigned. This and other figures in this nativity set make up Vigil’s Pueblo-style nativity, but he also made colonial Spanish and Plains Indian style nativity sets. | |
