Description |
Rug woven entirely in plain tapestry weave; Small central serrated diamond in black and turquoise blue on gray background is flanked on either side by wide vertical turquoise blue zigzag line edged in white and black, and the whole enclosed in a double terraced zigzag border in red, followed by a second double rectilinear fret border in white and black; Row of 3 small white and blue (faded to lavender) diamonds are positioned near each end of rug between the two borders; Traces of green, red, and yellow fringe remain along one end where warps are cut and knotted; Traces of blue and green fringe remain along opposite end. |
