| Description | Flat eye glass case or wallet, woven in two sections which fit one inside the other; Warp and weft material is rye grass stems; Base of each section is round but is then folded in half and flattened so completed basket is rectangular with convex ends; Each section is woven in alternating closed plain twined and open plain twined bands, the latter with exposed, crossed warps; Designs on closed plain twined bands consist of a band of floral motifs, except on the first and last rows which have a band of contiguous triangles. | |
