| Description | Large round shallow coiled tray with flat base and shallow, widely flaring sides, woven in coiled technique on very large bundle coils; Warp material is galleta grass stems and weft material is natural and vegetal dyed split yucca leaves; Geometric floral pattern whose 8 outlined petals are woven of sun-bleached weft fibers and edged in black was originally woven on a green-colored background; Rim terminus of basket appears not to have been completed, indicating this was likely a groom's wedding plaque. | |
