| Description | Round tray with flat base and very shallow and widely flaring sides, woven entirely in coiled technique over bundle coils; Warp fibers are galleta grass stems; Weft fibers are natural and aniline dyed split yucca leaves; Design consists of 2 red open terraced diamonds with yellow centers and edged in black, alternating with 2 yellow open terraced diamonds with red centers; Yellow diamonds are also enclosed within green open terraced diamonds, all edged in black; Background of basket is natural undyed yucca; Rim coil alternates natural and red or natural and black weft fibers adjacent to each larger motif. | |
