| Description | Untitled painting on white paper depicting pueblo Indian man dressed in moccasins, pink pants, purple shirt and brown vest sitting on black horse and holding deer fawn; Standing in front of horse is bald man in bare feet, wearing green pants, brown shirt and black vest and bottle feeding another deer fawn; Both men are shown in 3-4 right profile against plain white background with little attempt at perspective; Signature "Awa Tsireh" is printed in black ink in lower right corner. Awa Tsireh was the cousin of Margaret Lou Gutierrez, whose work is represented in the CAS pottery collection. | |
