Description | Round lid for ceramic blackware sugar bowl CAS 0370-1266A; Lid is in form of round disc, hammered to shape, with a semicircular opening to accommodate a serving spoon; Lid is fitted on interior with short lip corresponding to diameter of bowl's mouth; Solid silver handle on top is in form of truncated, 4-sided pyramid and is mounted upside down (on truncated tip); Stamped design on upper surface of lid includes feather-like band with pendant elongated open triangles encircling the handle; Lid is stamped on interior surface with initials "AK" (Allen Kee) along with hallmark of Navajo hogan (White Hogan Shop, Scottsdale, AZ) and words "Hand Made Sterling." | |
