Shallow, parallelogram-shaped pillbox with hinged lid on one short end; Box is fabricated from several silver sheets; Stylized butterfly (?) with outstretched wings is stamped on both faces of box; Artist’s hallmark “KB” and White Hogan shop mark (Navajo hogan symbol) are stamped along one long edge of box, along with hand-etched words, “Sterling ‘49 Hand Made Original Design.” |
