Bolo tie comprising rectangular black plastic slide, on which is mounted a bust portrait of a Plains Indian man shown with long black braided hair with feathers in his hair and wearing red shirt, all against turquoise background; Figure is modeled in plastic and is done in mosaic technique; Tie slide is glued to stainless steel or German silver plate through which braided black leather cord is strung; Ends of cord are covered with stainless steel conical covers whose notched rims are pinched around cord; Bolo tie is unsigned. |
