Description | Cylindrical box with flat base and vertical sides, cut with lathe; Rim is fashioned with recessed lip to conform to matching lid; Exterior surface of box is sanded very smooth and highly polished; Narrow channel encircling box just below midlevel height is inlaid with plain band of silver; Flat lid is recessed around underside of rim to fit into recessed rim of box; Slightly domed silver button with scalloped edge and stamped with series of heavy lines extending out from center in sunburst pattern is mounted in center of lid; Box is unsigned, but probably made through White Hogan Shop, Scottsdale, AZ. | |
