Description | Pair of earrings, each in form of a butterfly with spread wings; Small oval turquoise stone set in plain bezel on a silver back plate makes up butterfly's body; Wings are formed of wire that is bent to shape and soldered to sides of turquoise setting; Pendant from butterfly's tail is small flower whose center is a small turquoise stone and whose petals are also of bent silver wire; Entire earring is suspended from medallion-like silver disk whose edges are also encircled by series of bent wire loops and which is soldered to commercial silver screw-on earring post that is stamped "Sterling"; Earrings are unsigned. | |
