Description Set of 3 round ceramic buttons that are concave-convex in cross-section, each with a pair of small round button holes in its center; Both interior and exterior are scraped smooth; Interior is coated with red slip and lightly polished; Exterior is coated with white slip; Painted geometric design on exterior consists of pair of opposing black feathered wing motifs; One button is slightly smaller than the other two;Buttons are unsigned. These were probably made by Zia Pueblo students at the Santa Fe or Albuquerque Indian Schools.
