| Description | Round jar with flat base and rounded sides that reach their maximum diameter below the mid-level height, then rise to form a high shoulder and short slightly flaring neck with flared rim and rounded lip; Single coiled handle is attached at mid-level height of neck and high on the shoulder; Short pinched appendage is appended to top of handle; Overall color is gray, with no indication of painted designs or other decoration; Jar leans slightly to one side and small depression is located on side, just above the point of maximum diameter, caused by handling before the jar had completely dried. | |
