Description | Small round jar or cup with flat base, rounded body, and short but wide neck with straight sides and straight rim; Single loop handle in the form of an indeterminate animal (possibly a horned goat) is attached vertically just below rim and at shoulder Animal’s head is turned 1800 and extends above rim; Series of low vertical ridges decorate lower half of jar and pair of parallel shallowly incised lines encircle jar at base of neck, forming a slight ridge between them; Interior and exterior surfaces are scraped very smooth; Entire exterior and interior of rim are coated with a reddish brown slip. | |
