Description | Deep bowl with round, flat base and round lower body whose flaring walls gradually taper in at the top to form a wide, square mouth; Single stylized figure of a ram's or sheep's head is modeled at one corner of the bowl's mouth and rises above the rim; Both interior and exterior surfaces show series of shallow horizontal bands formed as bowl was fashioned on potter's wheel; Exterior and interior are possibly covered with buff-colored slip; Except for ram's head at rim, bowl is completely devoid of decoration. | |
