Pitcher with short, pedestal base and flat bottom; Rounded lower sides form low shoulder, then taper upward to a narrow neck before flaring widely to form rim and spout; Hollow curved handle is riveted to rim and just above shoulder; Interior of pitcher is tin plated; Small plate stamped "1/2 gallon" is attached to side of pitcher; Lead stamp with various letters and numbers is stamped on interior of rim. |
