Description From BRL 1982: "Table knife, England, probably Sheffield. Steel blade, wide and upswept curved, round ended. Octagon faceted green dyed elephant ivory handle; Wrought iron bolsters were most likely originally fancy octagonal - badly worn from polishing; Marks: 'Patterson and Kerr Warranted' (no info., probably retailer); Ca. 1800-1850; Matches table knives CAS 0389-1865 through -1870, seems to match table forks CAS 0389-1730, -1851 and carving fork CAS 0389-1692."
