Description Three-tined steel fork with bone handle pieces that are dyed green, with six silver shells on each side of the handle and a crown with scrolls and a grape cluster in the center on each side; The proximal end has a silver cap on it with a rosette in the center; From BRL 1982: “Table fork, Germany, probably early 19th century; Green dyed bone slab handle; Pinned on tin (?) (sic) alloy decoration and end caps (same style as on CAS 0389-1544 and -1988); 3 tines; Some loose ornaments; Matches table knife CAS 0389-1970; a fine set.”
