Description A: Knife; B: Sheath; From BRL 1982: “Mediterranean dagger, and scabbard; Spain, probably 18th or early 19th century; Rope carved one piece ivory handle (probably original, but may not be); Engraved and embossed silver (?) (sic) alloy ferrule and cap; Triangular blade with fancy bolster, sharp false edge; Hole pierced near point (on eye?) (sic); Etched (?) (sic) inscriptions on both sides of blade; Scabbard: brown leather over wood, 3 crude brass fittings, not original to knife.”
