Description From BRL 1982: "Table knife. Blade: Most likely second half of 19th century. Blade is German made in Solingen. Steel blade is factory made with the twins trademark of J.A. Henckels, Solingen (est. 1731) and an image of a large running bird, probably the Rhea of South America. Handle: painted, white glazed earthenware - most likely South American, but may be German; ferule missing. Note: Blade and handle may not be original to each other; repaired with plastic wood."
