Description Tackle used to fish for tai (pagrus), consisting of rectangular frame made from 6 equal-sized bamboo strips laid side by side and held apart by 4 spacer rods; Length of fishing line is wrapped around frame from end to end; Short double length of 2-ply cordage is tied to one end of line, probably to serve as lure; J-shaped steel hook wrapped in white feathers and encased in feather shaft with silver metal plug in end is tied to opposite end of fishing line.
