Description | Fishing lure carved from single piece of wood in shape of fish; Front half of body is stained black and eyes are represented by pair of turquoise colored glass beads mounted on top of head; 6 round metal discs with center perforations (coins?) are mounted into slit in fish's underbelly; 5 small tufts of feathers are also inserted into small holes along underbelly; Short wooden peg inserted into truncated tail of fish; Length of string extending through fish's head (beneath eyes) and extending along sides and tied at front defines fish's mouth. | |
