Description Didgeridoo made from termite-hollowed eucalyptus bough; Proximal or mouth end of instrument is coated with band of black spinifex (?) gum; Entire exterior of didgeridoo is stained with ochre pigment; Approx. 30% of shaft near distal and is painted with image of turtle and fish in white and yellow-gold earth pigments; Remaining 70% of shaft is varnished or rubbed with animal fat.
