Description | Deep round basket with flat base and sides that flare outward on the lower sides and then taper inward very slightly toward the rim; Basket is woven in coiled technique over a bundle foundation; Warp material is bear grass stems and primary weft material is sun bleached split yucca leaves; Designs are woven of split reddish brown yucca roots and consist of 5 large terraced, open diamonds arranged in a band around the sides of the basket. | |
