Description 3-dimensional carved figurine in standing position, representing Palakwayo (Red-tailed Hawk), who is a chief katsina and appears during the Pachavu ceremony, functioning as both a warrior and hunter; His torso and upper arms are painted orange, his shoulders are pale blue, and his forearms are yellow; He wears a carved and painted white kilt with dance sash at right side, blue and orange moccasins, and blue and yellow garters (?) around his knees; Orange case mask includes pale blue tab ears, bulging black eyes, yellow beak, and pale green neck ruff; Inverted black "V" is painted over beak; Pale blue band tied in front frames top of mask; Top of mask is flesh-toned and bundle of feathers are attached there, partially covered with piece of newspaper.
