Description 3-dimensional carved figure in standing position, representing Sio Shalako (Zuni Shalako), who is derived from the Zuni Shalako Katsina and appears only rarely in Hopi villages; Figure is dressed in carved and painted dance kilt and white maiden's shawl, blue moccasins, and turquoise necklace; Blue case mask has bulging black and white eyes, flat protruding snout, and pair of black upturned horns with blue lightning lines; Red and black band is painted across face and between eyes; Fan of green feathers is attached to back of mask and smaller green feathers are attached to top of mask; Figure is mounted on rectangular plywood base that is painted green.
