Description 3-dimensional carved figure in standing position with articulated arms, representing Salimopia Thlian'ona (Blue Warrior of the West), who is one of 12 powerful figures who represent youth, vitality, and beauty and protect the Zuni people from many evils and misfortune; Figure's body is painted lilac to signify the western cardinal direction; He wears muslin kilt with painted designs, cotton cloth and felt waist sashes, red leather moccasins, and leather and tin bow guard; Pale blue case mask has rainbow-colored circle on either side, long tubular mouth, neck ruff of black wild turkey (?) feathers, and bundle of orange feathers tied to blue stick on top of head; Figure carries yucca whips in each hand, as well as evergreen (?) bough in right hand.
