Description 3-dimensional carved figure in standing position (with outstretched arms), representing Ai (Rattle Katsina) who appears in the Mixed Katsina Dance; He is same katsina as Aya, one of many runner katsinam who race with men from the Hopi villages; His upper torso is painted red, with the left shoulder, right forearm and right leg being blue and the right shoulder, left forearm and left leg painted yellow; He wears carved and painted white dance kilt, sash belt, and dance sash (all with appropriate designs) and green moccasins; His white case mask is bisected on front and back by black line with "X" motif, red star shape on right side of mask and yellow flower on left side; Red conical spire rises from top of mask with single feather glued to top; Green yarn is tied around each wrist.
