Description 3-dimensional carved figure in dancing position (with outstretched arms and bent knees), representing Avachhoya (Speckled Corn Katsina); His body is painted dark brown with yellow and blue circles all over; He wears carved and painted white embroidered dance sash (worn at back instead of at side), black breechclout, brown moccasins, black leggings, red woven garters, blue armbands, and black yarn wristlet; Case mask is dark brown on back and blue on front and has red tab ears and red tubular mouth; Corn motif are painted on each check and on back of mask; Top of mask is black and 4 large feathers arranged in cross pattern and several smaller feathers are attached to top of mask.
