Description 3-dimensional carved figure in standing position, representing the Black Nataska, an Ogre Katsina who appears in the Hopi Villages during or right after the Powamu Ceremony, demanding food or threatening to take children if not placated; Figure is dressed in white shirt, black pants, carved and painted dance sash, brown moccasins with painted garters, and full length buckskin cape; He carries an axe in right hand and long metal knife in left hand; His black mask has large bulging eyes with white crow's foot painted between the eyes, extremely large snout with bared teeth, large curved horns with green zigzag line; And black and white neck ruff; Numerous feathers are tied to top of mask and horns; [Barton Wright says this katsina does not resemble Jimmy Kewanwytewa's carvings at all.]
