Description 3-dimensional carved figure in standing position and with articulated arms, representing Saiyatasha (Rain Priest of the North, a.k.a. Long Horn), who appears only during the Shalako ceremony and orchestrates that ceremony; He brings many benefits to the Zuni people, including long life, good weather, and deer; Figure is dressed in white muslin shirt, dance kilt and sash, and wears shawl around his waist (kilt, sash, and shawl are painted with embroidered designs); Leather moccasins and leather leggings complete clothing items; Case mask is painted white with black and white neck ruff; Large left ear is white and single horn on right is blue, both trimmed with black wool; More black wool, two coils of white wool, and several feathers cover top of mask.
