Description 3-dimensional carved figure in standing position with articulated arms, representing Ainshe (Bear in animal form), who appears during the mixed dances [the bear can also appear dressed in katsina form, then called Ainshekoko]; Bear's body is painted black and he wears white muslin kilt, dance sash, and bandolier (all with painted designs), and carved and painted (blue, white, and red) moccasins; Eyes and ears are outlined in red; Traces of red feathers are attached to to of head; Bear carries nothing in its front paws.
