Description 3-dimensional carving in standing position, representing Wakashi (Cow Katsina), who appears in the Wakashi Dance and represents a prayer for an increase of cattle; Figure's upper torso is painted blue on the right side, yellow on the left side and red in the center; His right forearm is white and his left forearm is blue; His upper legs are white, knees are red, and lower legs are yellow; He wears only a white muslin cloth kilt, painted muslin cloth dance sash, painted and carved blue moccasins, and red and white yarn wristlets; Case mask is yellow on front and has white and black horns, red tab ears, pop-out eyes, and very wide snout; Cowhide with hair still on form neck ruff and top covering of mask; Back of mask is white with cloud (?) motifs; Feathers attached to top and back of mask.
