Materials Rye grass (Elymus sp.) stems; Worsted wool yarn
Description Small cylindrical basket with flat base and vertical sides, woven primarily in closed plain twining, with regularly spaced rows of exposed, crossed warps on the side of the basket; Warp and weft fiber is rye grass stems; Designs on upper sides of basket are woven of worsted wool yarn in false embroidery technique and consist of light blue band bordered by red and blue checked band; A second design band just below rim consists of row of spaced alternating orange and green blocks with similar sized blocks of light blue in between but one row above them.
