Description |
Elongated rectangular pendant done in overlay technique; Geometric design includes feather motif, consisting of row of 3 contiguous triangles and spiral line; Terraced triangle possibly represents kiva steps; Small silver wire loop is soldered along one short edge of pendant; Pendant is stamped on reverse with hallmark of small 4-point star atop pair of triangles (Leroy Kewanyama, Star Priest) and sun face hallmark (Kewanyama's personal hallmark for Hopi Silvercraft Guild); Both hallmarks are lightly stamped. |
