Full-sized Bering Strait style kayak with wood slat frame covered with stretched seal skins; Kayak is designed with single cockpit and bow is turned upward slightly and includes hand grip for pulling kayak; Stern is squared off and has short projection at top; Harpoon holder is attached alongside the cockpit, with four additional ivory pieces attached on upper surface of kayak in front of cockpit. |
