Description North Alaska style full-sized kayak made with a wood slat frame covered with stretched seal skins; Deck beams appear to be steam- or heat-bent oak; Framing slats are lashed together on interior with baleen strips; Front edge of single cockpit is raked, with the deck sloping downward in front to an otherwise flat deck; Both bow and stern turn upward slightly.
