Description Hemispherical young woman's hat with rounded base and sided; Woven primarily in plain twining with 3-strand twining on base and near rim; Design is in bear grass and maidenhair fern and is divided into 3 registers; Concentric bands decorate the crown; Middle register shows motif of 3 small triangles repeated 8 times and arranged in zigzag pattern; Rim register has 4 parallelograms.
