Description Toy top assembled from several pieces that collectively form a mouse; Base is a flat round disc painted predominantly yellow with a red band around its side and concentric blue and red bands on one face; Mid-section (mouse’s body) is bullet shaped with the concave interior painted with concentric blue, yellow, and red bands and a narrow diameter bamboo rod extending up through the center and out the top, and a tapered bamboo peg (painted brown) extending diagonally through a hole in the side to represent the mouse’s tail; Exterior of mid-section is painted brown on the back and white on the front, with the mouse’s forelegs shown holding a small gray jar and a rectangular bag; Mouse’s head is teardrop-shaped and painted brown with pair of black eyes outlined in white, the tapered point positioned to represent the face; Small drilled hole on base of head fits onto bamboo rod extending up from “body”; Short bamboo rod extends out from back of head; Yellow dome-shaped disc serves as mouse’s hat and is painted on interior and exterior with several narrow concentric red bands; Tapered wooden stem in center of hat’s interior fits into small hole drilled in mouse’s head.
