Description Miniature oval basket with flat base and rounded sides, woven in coiled technique over single rod foundation; Warp material is peeled willow shoots and primary weft material is sedge roots; Designs are woven of black bulrush roots and consist of 4 similar floral or geometric units that begin on the base and continue up the sides to the rim, with one unit positioned on each side and end of the basket; Upper sides of basket are also decorated with 24 quail topknot feathers arranged in two horizontal bands.
