Description Necklace consisting of teardrop-shaped pendant of smoked moose hide that is decorated with a single brown and mustard-colored butterfly motif made of tufted and trimmed caribou hair, with its antennae made of small black beads; Edges of pendant are trimmed with amber-colored and black beads; Pendant is attached to pair of beaded strands whose segments comprise paired strands of black, yellow, and amber-colored beads alternating with single dentalium shell, with small bit of smoked moose hide forming a spacer at the bottom of each dentalium shell; Upper end of each beaded strand is attached to segment of hide thong, with both ends of each thong threaded through a larger gray stone (?) bead by which the overall length of the necklace can be regulated; Pendant is signed on reverse in ink, “By Selina 9-2007.”
