Description Round pin consisting of a round piece of smoked moose hide, decorated with a 5-petal flower motif made by pulling tufts of dyed (pink) caribou hair through the moose hide and trimming them to shape; Center of flower is made of dyed green caribou hair; Single dark green bead is secured at center of flower and 5 groupings of light and dark green beads around the edges of the petals represent the sepals; Separate piece of moose hide is sewn to the reverse of the pin to hide the sewing stitches and to hold the commercially made clasp pin; Edges of entire pin are trimmed in single row of spaced clear beads and an outer row of closely spaced light pink beads; Three strands of graduated length and made of light pink, clear, and dark and light green beads in graduated sizes and several shapes are pendant from the lower edge of the pin; Reverse of pin is signed “By Selina 5-27-96” in black ink.
