Description |
Rain sash woven entirely in warp-faced technique; Design consists of raised zigzag line that runs entire length of sash on one face only, flanked on either side by short chevrons, both accomplished by skipping over several wefts at regular intervals; At each end of the sash, the warps are grouped to form six short tabs, whose ends pass through cotton-wrapped corn husk rings, and then hang pendant as long fringes. |
