Description Round basket with nearly flat base and very rounded sides that slope inward toward the rim; Basket is woven entirely in coiled technique over large bundle coils; Pair of coil-wrapped loops are woven into final rim coil and coil-wrapped bail handle is attached to them; Separate round coiled lid is nearly flat and has single coil-wrapped loop woven into rim coil; Warp fiber is galleta grass stems and weft material is natural and aniline dyed split yucca leaves; Designs on sides of basket consist of 4 terraced diamonds that are vertically bisected by black line and outlined in black; Two of the diamonds are half yellow and half red, while the other two are half green and half red, all on natural sun-bleached background color; Designs on lid consist of 6 small terraced diamonds that radiate out from the center; 2 of the diamonds are red, 2 are green, and 2 are purple and all are outlined in black on natural sun bleached background; Coil wrapping on lid's loop handle is red.
