Description Small round jar with flat base, rounded undersides that flare outward to just below mid-level height, then rise vertically toward rim and flare out slightly just below rim; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth; Decorative band of clay encircles neck of jar below rim and is embellished with short parallel diagonally incised lines; Interior and exterior of jar are coated with piñon pine pitch; Jar is unsigned, but artist’s name and $10 is written on small label attached to bottom of jar.
