Description Small round bowl with flat base and rounded, flaring sides; Interior and exterior are scraped and sanded very smooth; Single incised image of cornstalk in interior center of bowl is encircled by a larger yei figure; Exterior sides of bowl are incised with numerous incised turkey tracks; Interior and exterior of bowl are coated with piñon pine pitch; Artist’s name “Justin Kaye” is incised in printed lettering on underside of bowl. Justin Kaye is the son of Myra Tso Kaye and grandson of Fay B. Tso, both of whom are also Navajo potters.
