Description | Small wedding vase with flat base, mid-level height shoulder and two slightly flaring round spouts joined by an arching stirrup handle; Jar is oval-shaped in cross-section; Exterior is scraped smooth and on either side of vessel a 2-story cliff dwelling or pueblo structure is sculpted in low relief; Exterior is coated with piñon pine pitch; Artist’s initials “EB” (possibly Eugene Bartlett, son of Lorena Bartlett) are incised on base. | |
