Description | Medium-sized round bowl with flat base, rounded sides that flare outward to a pronounced, mid-level height shoulder, then gradually slope inward toward the rim and wide, round mouth; Interior and exterior are scraped smooth and exterior is carefully sanded; Exterior is heavily mottled with numerous fireclouds; Interior and exterior are coated with piñon pine pitch, with heavy residue of pitch left in interior base; Jar is unsigned. | |
