Description Small round jar with flat base and rounded sides that flare outward to their maximum diameter at mid-level height, then slope inward and rise gradually to the rim and wide mouth; Interior and exterior are scraped and sanded smooth and exterior is covered with a white slip; Wide design band that encircles mid-section of jar is divided into four panels, each of which is sub-divided diagonally, with the lower half painted with paired feathers and a diagonal row of triangles and the upper half with a fine-line key-element and a stippled orange triangle; Narrow solid orange line encircles the jar’s neck; Artist’s signature “Gilbert Lalio Zuni” is printed in dark brown on underside.
